Center Educational Philosophy- Ivory Hills Family Child Care Center LLC uses the direct instruction approach to learning, which consists of step-by-step presentation of material, followed by guided practice. We do not use tests to measure children’s progress, instead we observe them, and we can come to recognize what skills we need to work on. We use repetition and review to develop the needed skills. Ivory Hills Family Child Care Center LLC, allows each child to develop at their own pace. We recognize all children have different learning styles and we encourage that.
Ivory Hills Family Child Care Center LLC as of June 2025, now offers the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) and School-age Curricular Framework (SACF)
WMELS/SACF– are frameworks that guide decisions about what and how to teach young children, and in what order skills and behaviors are built.
The WMELS/SACF are supported by evidence-based practices and provide developmental expectations including what children should know and be able to do as they develop. Aligning curriculum with the WMELS and/or SACF ensures that programs opportunities for children to grow in all areas of development.
We have open enrollment- Open enrollment for children 6 weeks old to 13 years of age. We accept private pay as well as Shares Payments. Low cost co-pay (if any).
